Aligning PCCW Global’s digital presence with its modern subsidiary through a strategic, family-focused design system.

The brief
PCCW Global’s website needed more than a visual refresh. It lacked alignment with Console Connect—its digital platform and most forward-looking product—creating a disconnect between how the business presents itself and where it’s heading.
The goal was to bring the two closer together: to create a more modern, cohesive experience that feels part of the same family, without losing the authority and credibility of the parent brand.
The context
Console Connect is PCCW Global’s on-demand network automation platform—the more progressive, product-led side of the business. Its brand reflects that: bold, bright and intentionally playful.



PCCW Global, on the other hand, operates at an enterprise level—serving global customers in more traditional contexts. While closely related, its expression needed to feel more grounded, stable and mature.
The challenge was to define that relationship clearly in the design: connected, but not identical.


The approach
Rather than reinventing PCCW Global, the design draws from Console Connect and adapts it for a more corporate setting.
A few key shifts made that possible:
Use the more muted blue colours from the brand palette (Console uses the more vibrant and bright)
Move from illustration to photography and iconography
Apply a cleaner, more restrained layout system
